Winter Drumline - there is nothing like the sound of banging drums, flouresent lights and screaming children to set off a migraine. But how do you NOT attend when two of your kids are in? I love to watch, and hear the sounds of the drums. The formation of the bands. But boy does it ever send me running for my little box of pills.




These pics were actually taken during a parent practice. NIIIICE, Marisa. This is her first year on tenors. She is pretty good. Their entire show is actually coming together quite well. This past week, they placed second; won best cymbals, and best pit, which is where Chrisarella is playing this year. She isn't sure if she likes it yet or not.





As you can see from the pic below, she doesn't like me to take her picture. And as I forgot my camera on Saturday, I only have pics on my phone. The one's I have of her are not friendly. Next show, I promise not to forget camera.

I need blogger /Youtube/teenager help. You can actually go visit their Youtube video by just typing in CNS drumline and getting it yourself. i can't figure it out. I'm sure it's relatively simple; but - whatever. By the way, video does them no justice.

Back to the resting place for today. Cuddling with my little guy; he came home with a headache and fever yesterday. Poor little man. Oh, and a minor break from the winter blizzard for an hour today. oh yeah.
